Vietnam - Highland Fun, Day 1

Location: Central Highlands, Vietnam

Our tour of the Central Highlands, gave us some insight into the real Vietnam. This is Day 1 of 3

15 Jan 2007, 3:43AM

First stop of tour was a traditional brick factory. The chap on the right is pushing wds of clay into the machine which pushes it through a mould towards woman on the left. She discards the crap ones (see pile in front of her) and puts good ones on a try which are then taken, dryed and fired.

14 Jan 2007, 9:41AM

Actually this was taken in Nah Trang, this is Jo having her legs threaded on the beach.

15 Jan 2007, 4:26AM

Our first real view of Jungle...

15 Jan 2007, 3:49AM

Same place, different product, these are roof tiles being pressed by hand, some lucky guy will get one formed by Jo

15 Jan 2007, 5:44AM

Pepper (As in black pepper) plants, I'd never seen one before.

15 Jan 2007, 4:41AM

... our second look at jungle, errr, no sorry this is Pheonix Pass, an area that nearly 40 years ago was dessimated by the American using Agent Orange. It's still struggling to recover.

15 Jan 2007, 9:02AM

In Yok Don National Park. Fishing in a bit of river that had dryed out, it is the dry season after all. We later ate some of these fish.

15 Jan 2007, 7:26AM

This is how to carry banana's on a moped.
