Auckland- Round Two

Location: Auckland, New Zealand

Back in Auckland for a few days before heading to Fiji. Check out how we "killed" some time!

View from the sky tower- Auckland Harbour.

Auckland Sky Tower is the highest tower in the Southern Hemisphere.

They love their rugby around here. This is the countdown to World Cup...Days, hours, minutes and seconds.

The harbour has many "fingers" or inlets of water jutting into the city's shoreline.

5 famous expiditions to Antarctica made by Kiwis.

A photo in Kelly Tarlton's Antarctic Experience- Kiwis were the 2nd nation to reach the south pole.

This little guy is just losing his feathers.

In the center, we checked out the shacks they lived in, the supplies and equipment they took along as well as a couple of videos that made us more than cold just watching!

We loved penguines as much as we loved the sheep; we took the kiddie-ride twice. Now Lana has new dance moves for the bar!

Phoebe, the short-tailed sting ray, was 2 meters wide and weighed 250 Kg. We saw the sting-ray feeding.

Our day was complete after seeing turtles, fish, octopus, penguines (twice), sharks and sting-ray.

We found Nemo!
