The Blue Mountains

Location: The Blue Mountains, Australia

This is a photo page from our day trip to the Blue Mountains, what a beautiful place!

10 Apr 2007, 11:27AM

A nice view (but also our way of making you jealous by showing the blue sky too)

10 Apr 2007, 11:14AM

A nice view

10 Apr 2007, 12:04PM

The three sisters. There's an old tale about someone turning them into stone and then dying before turning them back. If he was anything like us, he'd probably just forgotten about them, no malice intended!

10 Apr 2007, 11:28AM

An even prettier view, Emily's mum showing that ANYONE can live the dream! And us showing how wearing walking gear is practical and cool...

10 Apr 2007, 12:54PM

Jenny looking the picture of mental health and serenity!

10 Apr 2007, 12:52PM

The steepest railway - in the world!

10 Apr 2007, 12:58PM

And this was where it stopped. We say 'stopped', we mean it had no hill to be out of control on anymore!

10 Apr 2007, 12:55PM

Ok it was a little scary in the tunnel, and it seemed to keep getting steeper!

10 Apr 2007, 5:36PM

The view from the ferry home, after a wonderful day in the mountains.

10 Apr 2007, 3:07PM

Emily and a big horn, no it's a Digeriedoo, with duck tape on the bottom. Very traditional.
