Campervaning the East Coast

Location: East Coast, New Zealand

We ventured to Akaroa and encountered a Pumpkin Festival on Anzac Day before heading inland to Lake Tekapo.

There really is a dolphin there, we swam in the freezing water with them so appreciate it!

We will do anything to have a hot shower at the moment, but unfortaunately there was a bit of a queue at the dolphin swimming office - us English to polite to push in!

The church of the Good Shepherd, people don't gpo here for religious reasons just for the view out of the altar window of the lake.

Sarah joins the locals for a spot of 'gum boot throwing', after carefully analysing the angle she needs to throw she manages to put in a hearty effort.

Appreciate the view as we had to climb a mountain to take it...we really have dropped our fitness levels since China, this nearly killed us!
