Location: BotswanaThese photos are all from the same day. We had the most amazing day at Chobe National Park. Yvonne and I had to go with a different truck, had a great drive, but the rest had an aweful time. So we did a second drive and I was navigator up the front with driver Chris. He loved that I was so scared and practically sitting on his lap when the elephants were charging at the truck. Then we did a sunset cruise. All in all, 9 hours of game driving / cruisng, one of the best days on tour.
Crazy - an elephant cruisng on the road and near houses.
I love warthog families - they are so cute (and tasty).
You can see how close we were. Chris would cut off the family of elephants so they would walk in front of the truck.
Family of impala with the 'McDonalds' symbol on their butt.
This little guy is so adorable.
Just when we thought we had seen everything, Chris found elephants in a mud pool, just amazing!

Elephant up close on the sunset cruise.
Hippos up close. Amazing sight.
Elephant family at sunset.
Hippos were so close that they could have tipped the boat in one movement - great!
Fisherman at sunset - the end of an awesome day.
