Africa - Horse riding Safari

After a few days on the coast we had 10 days horseriding with the great herds during the migration of wildebeast and Zebra camping and living amongst the animals.

An upgrade to business class with BA made for a luxury start to the honeymoon (Thanks Nicky!!)

One of the lions we hunted with at night

The 17 carriages of our train wind their way very slowly to Mobassa through the African plains.

The luxury flight was put balanced by the 'first class' overnight sleeper from Niarobi to Mombassa - an experience never to be forgotten!

Just what was needed after the hectic month of August - time to chill in the very warm waters of Malindi

Hemingways hotel is famed fror it's deep sea fishing trips into the Indian Ocean for Marlin, Tune and Barracuda

Breakfast by the Mara river with our Hippo neighbours

After 5 days luxuriating by the sea we swap our 5 star hotel for ..... a tent! .... but in the best place in the world to camp - The Masai!

The 5 Amigos - Shane, Katy, Jude, Pip & Helen

Our guides - Jacob & Francessca with hugo who joined us for 2 nights of nightime bush madness and fun!

Our dining room - candleit silver service whenthe wind or cold meant we could not eat in the open in bush
