Public Transport in laos

Location: Laos

You have to be here to really appreciate how interesting using public trasportation in Laos really is!

The 'bus' we took into a village in the back 40... Those are buckets of fish on the back bumper.

Boarding the bus for a 26 hr. escurtion.

A couple of the 'throw-up' kids. If you look real close you can see the little boys jeans covered in rice puke!

Me crammed in with 25 others. I tried to get a little Mocking Bird sing-a-long fired up. "Mock... YA... Ing... Ya... Ya... Ya" There were no takers.

To a mud puddle in the matter of 2 minutes

The road went from dust...

About 3 am... trying to get some sleep on the bus before it took off again at 5 am.

Our bus stuck... that was as far as we could push it.

We had a little rad line break... I pitched in, I refilled the radiator with water.

After my little nap, I woke up to these rabbits right beside my head. They smelt great in the hot humid bus.
