Location: AustraliaFraser Island is a big sand island. The only way to get around on the island is by 4WD vechicles. It's a reallt beautiful place and lots to see. Enjoy the pics.
This is ferry that i went over to the island on. It took about 25 mins to get there from Hervey Bay.
This is the 4WD bus that took us around the island. The driver and guide was called Greg and he was a real aussie guy full of jokes. It was quite a bumping ride going around the island but it was great fun. There was 19 people on the tour.
This is an ancient rainforest with a creek called Wonggoolba.
This is the walk way through the rainforest. It was very beautiful and peaceful.
This 75 mile beach. It's very beautiful. You can't swim here because of sharks and strongs currants.
We saw this wild dingo whilst travelling down the beach on the bus. You are warned to keep well aweay from them when on the island as they can be very aggresive.
This is the little plane i went in to do a scenic flight of the island. It was so much fun!
This is the view of 75 mile beach and the famous Maheno Shipwreck.
75 mile beach again.
The sandblow as it's called. We walked across this i think on the second day of the tour. We did it in the morning so it was'nt so hot. It was very hard work walking in the sand as it was very deep. I thought i was going to die in the heat.
The beach again.
I climbed up a cliff at Indian head which is the south end of the island. The views were amazing and i saw some sharks and a stingray in the ocean.
