Yosemite Natl. Park, #2

Location: Yosemite Natl. Park, USA

A day trip to see the "big trees". A ride up to Glacier Point and going back to a place where I was when I was a kid.

2 Aug 2007, 12:56AM

Two of the giant's locked together. They say these are the only two like this in the world.

1 Aug 2007, 10:55PM

On the ride up to Giant Sequoia's as the sun is still rising. This is the Valley Outlook.

2 Aug 2007, 1:23AM

Do you want to feel very small? Not talking about size here.

2 Aug 2007, 12:59AM

Two Sequioa's are darkened out by the bright blue sky clouds.

2 Aug 2007, 3:31AM

On the way back we stopped at Glacier Point. Wow!

2 Aug 2007, 1:46AM

They don't cut into the trees like this anymore and haven't for years. Believe it or not, you can drive a pickup truck through this hole.

2 Aug 2007, 3:50AM

Down below is Yosemite Valley. One mile across and seven miles deep.

2 Aug 2007, 3:33AM

Rach says a full dome next to the famous Half Dome.

3 Aug 2007, 3:55AM

From the shoreline taking it all in. This day was amazing. The scene and the temp were just perfect.

3 Aug 2007, 3:53AM

Last full day in the park included lunch with a view at Tenaya Lake.

3 Aug 2007, 6:02AM

Looking back over the stream towards the acutal Meadow. Breathtaking.

3 Aug 2007, 6:27AM

You guys remember this? Truly was one of the best stops on the visit to the park. The crowds thinned and the views got better.
