bar Harbor, ME

Location: Bar Harbor, ME, USA

Taking the scenic loop and making all the stops.

13 Sep 2007, 3:04AM

This is on Sandy Beach. Even though the water temp rarely reaches 55, there were people out swimming and sunbathing.

13 Sep 2007, 2:45AM

National Park that was given to the Federal Gov by the Rockefellers.

13 Sep 2007, 3:01AM

We were really amazed at the clarity of the water and the colors. Go with us on this one....it felt like our favorite island...St. John.

13 Sep 2007, 3:06AM

The far left of Sand Beach looking out at the ocean.

13 Sep 2007, 3:50AM

The water can not break down granite like it does "regular" rock.

13 Sep 2007, 3:24AM

The rocks around the shore add the drama to the scenery. Much of the stone is granite.

13 Sep 2007, 3:50AM

As you can see, she is a shadow of her former self...in a good way.

13 Sep 2007, 3:49AM

These type of pictures with my lovely wife are starting to add up.

13 Sep 2007, 5:36AM

The small smattering of white down below is the town of Bar Harbor.

13 Sep 2007, 5:28AM

This is from the top of Cadillac Mtn looking north.

13 Sep 2007, 6:24AM

The front view of the "hotel cottage" we slept and cooked in for 65 per night.
