Mainz

Location: Mainz, Germany

Wiesbaden's sister city across the Rhine river is Mainz. Like Wiesbaden it too is a capital city. There is a running jike among the locals that the residents of each city tell the others that they are living on the wrong side of the river. Lame joke, but what do you expect?! Mainz is like Royal Oak with Wiesbaden most like Birmingham. Mainz is a college town, lots of clubs and bars etc. It also has a very rich and extensive history dating back to the Roman era.
