Location: Mt Olympus, GreeceHıkıng Mt Olympus etc. Thought my holiday curse had followed me to Greece for a while (ie flooding rain whenever I am on holiday somewhere half exotic...not ın Australia though) but it subsided and all was well. Had a great time there. I also discovered İ really like travelling alone!
Cafe in Litohoro - a lovely little town at the base of Mt Olympus
At the Skala peak, about 2,880m. Also climbed Skolios which is about 2912m.
The mules that transport goods up to the refuges on the mountain. They wear bells so you can hear them. Poor bastards have no chance of escaping that hellish walk every day
Half way down the mountain. Beautiful vegetation which is markedly different to that at the summit.
The view from near the top when the clouds parted for a little
I climbed that!
Litohoro. As you can see, the weater was less than inspirational
