Location: Bath, EnglandWent to Bath with Liam. Battled the rail crisis after half the country was flooded but once we were there it was fabulous.
- Saturday: we walked around the city, visited the abbey, saw the roman baths and the rugby ground. I got my hair coloured (unfortunately long overdue!). We had quite a few pints, starting at the Saracens Head and ending up at St Christophers Inn. Ended the night at a takeaway van, giving away our lack of sobriety by declaring the vegie burgers to be the best EVER.
- Sunday: battled hangovers to go to the new rooftop thermal spa for the morning, which was excellent. The waters certainly had healing properties as we were sufficiently cured of headaches to wander around the Royal Crescent & have lunch, followed by a cream tea. A great weekend.

The swollen river at Bath
This bloke charged £1 to have a picture taken with him! But I had had 2 pints and thought it was a good idea. Bet he earns a fortune!

What I'm led to believe is a stunning example of hanging basket floristry
