Our new house

Location: Oxford, England

Here is a virtual walk through the house in the state it was when we bought it in February 2008.

Hallway (dirty walls, scarlet carpet, paper lampshade)

Front of house (before work - note the green door, green drainpipe and green accents round the windows).

Living room (grey walls, paper lampshade)

Dining room (grey walls, paper lampshade and a radiator that took up a whole wall)

Landing (note the landing cupboard and the tasteful 'ranch style' banisters).

Kitchen (old boiler on the wall)

Bedroom 1 (a la mode built in wardrobe)

Bedroom 1 (lovely colour - you'll just have to imagine the pockmarked state of the plaster)

Bathroom (super colour, and you have to edge sideways past the basin and the bath to reach the toilet)

Bedroom 2 (tired grey painted walls)

Garden (hedge and shrubs take over most of the area)

Bedroom 3 (radiator takes up a whole wall, large airing cupboard just out of sight to the left, scarlet carpet)
