Buenos Aires & Colonia, Urugua

Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina

Photos from the last week. We spent a day in Colonia, Uruguay - a 50 min. ferry ride from Buenos Aires. It´s an old Portugese settlement from the 18th century full of historic buildings, original cobbled streets etc. Buenos Aires was great, very big (13 million people) and we spent 6 days there.

Very friendly pidgeons!

Plaza de Mayo in Buenos Aires. The building behind us is Casa Rosada. This is where Eva Peron made her famous speech to the people from.

Che Guevara is still a most venerated figure in South America.

Do I have enough suger for my one cup of coffee!!

Linda and an extremely friendly Argentinian cow.

A Buenos Aires police car. We were hoping to see a police chase!

Gorgeous sunset in Colonia, Uruguay

Colonia streetscape.
