The wonderfully quiet main street of Bacharach.

Steph relaxing up in the Castle at Bacharach, see the vineyards in the background - really steep! The wine is nice though.

26 Apr 2008, 10:54AM

The famous Lorelei Rock, where legend says a beautiful maiden lured sailors to their watery deaths. I don't think she was at home though.

Well, I guess it's off to work for Matt, start here and make sure you don't miss any on the way up.

This is the torture chamber in Marksburg Castle, these guys were really friendly..

26 Apr 2008, 1:09PM

The cannons at Marksburg could hit something on the other side of the Rhine down there. Ouch.

26 Apr 2008, 4:55PM

Even the ruins of Rheinfels are impressive, it was the biggest castle in the valley.

26 Apr 2008, 4:43PM

The ruins of Rheinfels castle in St Goar - the French blew it up, those cheeky devils.
