Chipping Norton

Location: Cotswolds, UK

A couple more shots of Chipping Norton when the sun was shining. Actually the main reason was to take a photo of one of the roundabouts. British roads are roundabout meccas & they are absolutley everwhere. And if there isn't enough room for your contructed cement circle, they just paint them on the road. The one below in Chipping Norton is a bit extreme though & quite a challenge in heavy traffic. It's not uncommon to have one roundabout leading into another but this. . .

The old town hall which is now used as a community hall & available to the public for hire.

Street scene

The cafe where we had our brush with fame.

A pub like so many others. On a slope of course.

It's almost the longest day here. To give you an idea of how long that is, this was taken at 8pm from the house in Chadlington.

One (two) of probably thousands!

Same again at 10pm

The same view from the bathroom window at 9pm
