Uganda II

Me, Dan, Rita

Dan and Rita, his new girlfriend

SSali Grace, one of the new teachers at JIM school. He just graduated from Ugandan Christian University with a Bachelor of Art, majoring in religion and computers. He was very happy this day, in fact he's always happy!

Rita, Dulla, Me

JIM Education Centre boy, sitting watching the soccer games

Ssali's Auntie, mother and SSali. We were invited to the graduation reception at a local hotel. Lots of speaches and more matooke. He family are better off than a lot as the uni costs UGX1,000,000/term (about 0 AUD).. That's a lot of money for here in Uganda.

They had so much fun, I wish I could have shown them the photos on a large scale, they love seeing themselves.

Boys from the team and other students enjoying having their photos taken

AMAZING food cooked by our friend Rita, from Kenya.. ahh, just like Zanzibar food, pilau, spices, peas, spinach, chapatis.. very nice - instead of matooke! We love Rita..

Young girl who sat with me while I was watching soccer training

Rita serving us lunch. She invited us to her and her sister's house for this meal. Then her sister braided my hair.
