Uganda June IIII
Location: KIyunga, Uganda
This is the photo of an Australian aboriginal that I show people. They are so surprised that we have people with skin like Africans and they always think these people arrived in Australia as slaves from the African slave trade. This is the photo that scares the kids, Kisakye said if he saw this man in the forest he would run away very fast.
Some of the things I've been painting around the school.
Good to see the girls are washing their hands according to my sign!
I visited a local wildlife sanctuary.. This good-looking animal is a Ugandan bushpig!
Me in my room
This is where I wash, in this plastic tub using water from this jerry can. I have to wash my hair in this tub! That's why I like having my hair braided, I don't have to wash it so often..
My washing on the line, looks nice and grassy but there's bare dirt under the washing line.
Peace who does all our cooking.. She's friendly and fun, but she doesn't like parting with her jerry cans of water!
