Uganda 9

Location: Kiyunga, Uganda

Abdu, Sumia's relative

2 girls who always sit with me when we watch the classes play soccer

Another one who likes to sit with me

This girl always sits with me also

This is Jaja, Josephus's mother. Jaja means grandmother

I think they all just like having their photo taken, that's why they sit with me! But they also show off their kiswahili when sitting together

Kisolo, he's Sumia's relative also and is very friendly and helpful

Sara my friend from P5.

Rachael who likes to come running. She's the best runner in the school. Recently she's had stomach problems and has been having fits as well. They think it might be cerebral malaria, she's on medication. Let's hope they diagnosed correctly.

Sumia, she loves her photo being taken. My cheaky little friend.

Sule and his sister Eva. Since meeting them 2 weeks ago he always comes when he sees me now. He lives next to the school. I found out he's 9 years old and doesn't even go to school! He can't speak any english except "I'm fine". His parents can't afford the fees. It's sad, he's very friendly and I wonder what future he'll have with no schooling.
