Uganda 11

Location: Kiyunga, Uganda

Both computers in the library and the kids checking them out.

Josephus with the 2nd computer. He's very very happy!

The same day, it was our last day at school and Kisakye, Menya, Kalume, their Mum and sister came to say goodbye. Playing games in the library while we're waiting for lunch.

Even Jaja wanted to see what all the fuss was about. This is sunday so only the boarders are here.

Typical butcher shop. They eat a lot of pork in Uganda, except the muslims. This was early in the morning but later in the day there'll be a dead pig hanging on a hook here. I love the names of the shops. Here you can also see jack fruit hanging from the tree above. It's a really big fruit, bigger than a football and it's sweet and sticky.

A view of one part of Kampala. You can see the small tinned roofed shacks that a lot of people live in, and the mosque. Then there's another side of Kampala with big shopping centres and tall office buildings.

This is a view of Mukono, the closest big town to the village, but the place with very dodgy internet where Dan works. This is a view from the internet balcony. The motorbikes are 'bodaboda's', used as convenient transport. They're handy sometimes and cheap.
