On the Li River
Location: Guilin to Yangshuo, ChinaSaturday morning we took a boat trip down the Li river. The scenery was spectacular - all the karst formations along the way - and the life we saw along the river was also fascinating. It was about four hours from Guilin to Yangshou. These are some of the sights we saw.
Lots of boats and lots of tourists - foreign and domestic - make the trip.
Scenery like this is the main draw.
Team Huron find the indoor accomodations comfortable.
Ginny has reservations about the lunch menu. Lee takes in all in calmly.
Another beatiful view around practically every bend,
And there were lots of bends.
Here comes another one.
This formation has a name: Yearning for Husband Rock.
This one has no name.
