Rounders!!!Location: Nakuru, The Walk Playing Field, KenyaThis must be the highlight of my trip. We had such a fun day. The kids faces were gleaming. We have played again since and will do again before I leave. The kids always come up to me and say 'after break/lunch batter?' meaning rounders lol.

Not sure who this is, but he is going for it running to first base.
One of the girls getting ready to bat. She is muchg bigger than the other kids because she's 11. She is in my class with the 7 and 8 year olds. They dont have enough numbers that age yet for a class. But next year when the other two class rooms are finished the kids from my class will go there and so on.
Bowling far to high, the kids din't stand a chance at batting bowls like this.
I step in and sort it out!
I actually got Gladice to have a bat. She refused at first but I persisted and she had no choice. The kids loved it. Gladice missed the first time but hit an okish ball and ran on this shot. Better luck next time Gladice.
The last tem minuted I told both teams to merge and just que up for a couple of bats just for fun. This is the orderly que lol. Thats Harry in the background. He's another builder volunteer but he has gone now two with his misses Laura. These volunteers came to help out in the school on this day, they must have new rounders was on lol.
This isn't a rounders shot but I put it in this folder by miustake, o well. Thats Virginia with the head scarf and Ziporah standing by the door. The kids in blue are from the younger classes, impossible for me to try and learn any more names!
