Ko Lanta

Location: Ko Lanta, Thailand

This island was much more relaxed than Ko Phi Phi. It was a little bit off the beaten track although we didn't find it at all cheaper than Ko Phi Phi.

We met up with Katie (Erin's university roommate) and her boyfriend Oscar on the island.

Moonlit Bay Resort where we splurged and stayed for three nights.

Love it!

Brock Alumni!

"Happy Together"

This is how relaxed Ko Lanta was. We laid out at most of the places we ate and drank at! Thai day beds are seen in the distance.

Just out for a stroll. I think they made a stop at the convenience store for some beer.

Katie and Oscar on the scooter to the left passing an elephant walking beside the road.

This was just outside our room.

More sunsets.

After a few drinks Katie and Oscar couldn't drive back to their hotel so when they asked our security guard to call a taxi he said I'll drive you (they thought great, thinking he would have a truck or car). He then started his scooter and told them to hop on. It was a squeeze but they made it to their hotel. As for the security at our building, it was put on hold.

What? towels in animal shapes! Of course the first elephants in Thailand we ride are made of cotton.
