Busselton-Margaret River area

Location: Busselton, Australia

An area similar to the Napa Valley (30-40 years ago!!) but with the Indian Ocean a few kilometers to the west!

Wine bottles used for water at a family owned and operated winery's cafe.

A well-established vineyard beside the road - and it's harvest time so they are laden with grapes!

The quieter side of Geographe Bay

The Bussellton Jetty - stretching 1846 meters into Geographe Bay

Main Street in Busselton, the biggest town we stayed in outside of Perth.

Sunset over Geographie Bay

Eagle Bay Beach.

Public access to Eagle Bay Beach

Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse across the heath from near the whale lookout.

It's a 15-minute walk along the boardwalk from the lighthouse to the lookout point. In the Summer and Winter, the whale migration can be viewed from this point.

Seagull and surf fun - Flinders Bay

Flinders Bay - along the Southern Ocean, looking south to Antarctica.
