Kakadu National Park

Location: Jabiru, Australia

Jabiru

The rock art galleries were amazing.

We are at Ubirru. The strangler figs again

This photo does not do justice to the main rock art gallery called the menu. It is in an overhang cave which is full of superb rock art of food and supplies. Amazing.

Views of Arnhemland from the lookout.

A challenging climb to the lookout over the flood plain.

Cahills' Crossing waiting for the crocodiles to jump and catch the barramundi-to no avail, crocs here, but no feeding in sight.

Walking along the Mangarre trail on the tidal East Alligator River, we came along this sacred place where men are not allowed!! The place was called The Old Lady Sitting where the ancestral spirits still remain.

Mamukala Wetlands were full of whistling geese, what a noise!

The other side of the river is Arnhemland and we saw this aborigine on the banks using traditional fishing methods.

View from Beatrice Window of the world at the Wilderness Centre.
