Samara, page 9

Location: Samara, Russia

This city was closed in soviet times as it was a base for the development of space and military weapons. It is a very Russian place! In World War Two, it was the alternative capital when Moscow was under threat of invasion from the Nazis. It is still a major industrialised centre.
