back to 1960s - Ramen museum

Location: Yokohama, Japan

The Ramen Museum was cool in the way that it showed us what it would have been like in Japan in the 1950s/60s. The whole museum ws set up in such a way that there was a Ramen restaurant on everyside serving types Ramen from different parts of the country. The boys had a lot of fun looking in old sweets shops, playing vintage shooting games and eating Ramen.

The narrow streets of 1960s Japan.

Andy, Daniel and William standing outside a sweets shop.

The Japanese poeple stand around in the square as they listen to a man tell a funny story.

A vintage phone booth.

The side treets of 1960s Japan.

Jack enjoying his first taste of authentic Japanese Ramen.

These boys did not seem to be able to keep their hands off the guns.

The boys found a place they like.

Upstairs by the entrance of the Ramen museum.

The lady at the stall kindly took a photo of us.

Waiting list for the Ramen stores for busy days (luckily ours was not a busy day).

Final photo with the boys in fron of the square.
