Mehndi

Location: Keeranur, India

Mehndi refers to the tree the leaves are taken from and ground. Henna, I think, refers to the colour used. This wasn't proper Mehndi ground from the plant, you just buy it from the shop these days. It's about .08 of 1p for a cone of it so I'm gonna have a go ... this could be interesting :0) (It absolutely stinks of false tan.)

One of the ladies that is helping with Christmas bunting project did this for me

Pretty clever! Took about 3/4 an hour

There's no plan, just decide what to do as you go along

Once the dried ink had come off - it was a lot darker than this the next day though

Spot the hand!!!!!!!!! Blends in rather well with my bed sheet!!
