Farewell Spit

Location: Farewell Spit, New Zealand

This was washed up during a massive 150year flood.

Sunrise over the mudflats at farewell spit.

The wind is continually moving the sand.

Lighthouse at the end of the spit.

At the top of a 28 metre high sand dune, you can see one of the group down the bottom on the left.

Just to put a seal on the occasion.

In front of fossil cliff.

That's me trying to wear out my shorts going down the dune.

Here we are on the viewing platform.

The horses head at Cape Farewell.
