Putting the world to right in the beer garden.

Kat's a legend Londoner (orig from NZ). She rides around London too.

26 May 2007, 1:55PM

If you can believe Lauren had more than enough energy to muck around on Leanne's mountain bike when the rest of us were having a break.

26 May 2007, 5:07PM

The Lydford castle. This was the toughest part of the ride pretty much - we were exhausted. I was nearing delirium and so was Leanne. By this stage we had told the others to carry on and we would ride @ our more scenic pace and meet them there.

Leanne being a good girl and doing her stretches. I promised her a massage but didnt get to it! (uh-oh, that means I still owe one)

26 May 2007, 5:35PM

...And the clouds parted as the heavens opened and we saw a sign!!!

26 May 2007, 5:08PM

Im sure Lamb wanted to kill me at a few points along the way. Especially after taking the photo of the castle I sang a rendition of "Ding Dong the witch is dead" from Wizard of Oz - I think the castle reminded me of the part where Dorothy is locked up with all the flying monkeys.

Need I explain how exhausted we were?? ;)

26 May 2007, 7:55PM

That night four of us went for tea at a lovely pub. Lamb got some well deserved rest (she had just come off nights too!!!) The next day me and Lamb took ourselves back to London with our bikes and the rest of the group made their way to Barnstaple. Was a really great trip.
