Etosha national Park, Namibia

Location: Etosha, Namibia

Etosha means Great White Place of Dry Water' and is approxiamtely 20,000 sq km (half the size of Wales) and is incredibly flat. ...... it is also one of the best places for Rhino spotting in Africa

An extremely rare 5 legged elephant!!!

A small elephant eating Acacia bushes - the thorns on these are about 2 inches long and could easily pierce thorugh your hand.

My left hand was touching it's paw!! Honest!

The fastest land animal on the planet. 0-60mph in 4 seconds

Quick! Run! ... the Cheetah's coming to get you.

Nice Pussy!

What looks like low cloud in the distance is actually a dried lake bed over 40 miles long.

Walking off it's breakfast - this Lion crossed the track just a few feet in front of our truck. She was 1 of 6 that walked by heading towards a herd of Zebra about 1/2 a mile away.

A floodlit water hole at Okkaukaejo camp. There are 2 Rhinos in the shot onthe far side of the water(and 3 more out of it)

A sadly too rare Black Rhino. This thing was walking down the road - needless to say he had right of way.
