Milano, 8 Feb 2006

Location: Milan, Italy

View of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II (built in the mid 19th century) from the Duomo entrance.

Hot Chocolate Italian-style! It is literally melted chocolate. I couldn't handle it but Kelly made unbelievably short work of hers!

The Duomo. Check out the day!

Kelly looking as goegeous as ever on the way up to the Duomo roof.

Me relishing the opportunity to don a pair of shades (Duomo roof)!
P.S. Thanks for the loan of the coat David - it has been fantastic!

Many of the major sights so far have been undergoing restoration works. The facade of the Duomo in Milan was no exception.

Kelly on the roof. Don't let the clear skies fool you, it was still pretty cold (notice the snow?)!

It took 500 years to carve and construct this cathedral. Every sqaure centimetre had the most amazing detail

Kelly checking out what was on offer within the glass-roofed Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.

Inside the grounds of what we considered a REAL castle!

Kelly re-living her youth!
